Our hospitalization area can hold up to 30 falcons at one time. For further investigations we will usual hospitalise a falcon. We will also hospitalise a falcon post surgery for rehabilitation. Our onsite veterinary assistant is on hand 24 hours to look after, be it feeding, giving medicines or just keeping the falcon company.

Because of contamination we cannot risk allowing unauthorised personal in to this section. We have therefore installed a radiographic facility. The x-ray unit is interfaced with the main clinical x-ray display monitor in the main clinic so that the owners of the falcons can see the radiographs and interact with the clinicians to monitor their falcon’s clinical conditions, treatment plan and after care without going in to the hospitalization section.
