Conferences

The conference is the first of its kind being. It is a collaboration between the IAF (International Association for Falconry and Conservation of birds of prey), Qatari Society of Algannas and Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital. The conference was held in Doha, Qatar.

The conference took place in Doha from 30th January to 1st February 2014. We had an audience of veterinarians and veterinary students invited from universities in the Gulf and from the rest of the world, as well as some interested falconers and rehabilitators. Time was set aside for practical workshops. Speakers included eminent research scientist and well known vets specializing in falcons and avian veterinary medicine and all presentations were collated into a bound booklet and was provided to all those attending at the start of the conference.
